TTSD guest trainers
The TTSD (Table Tennis School The Hague) uses top guest trainers who master and can transfer specific table tennis techniques and tactics at a very high level. Top guest trainers are also hired for our open camps in the Netherlands and camps abroad. Among others:
Danny Heister
In addition to being a top trainer and top coach, Danny is also a former world top player (16th in the world) and multiple Dutch men's singles champion (11x). Danny has been active in the German 1st Bundesliga for decades, first as a player and then as a very successful trainer/coach of Borussia Düsseldorf, which has won numerous German league titles and European Champions League titles.
Alf Knutsson
Alf was the youth coach of table tennis legend Jan-Ove Waldner (champion of the world in 1989 and 1997, Olympic champion in 1992) and of multiple European champion Michael Appelgren and many other world top players.
Lars Wildenborg
Lars is trainer/coach of many A youth players and he was trainer/coach of the Litac youth team that became national champion in 2016. He coaches Hercules' men's premier league team. Dutch men's singles champion 2023 Barry Berben has been coached by Lars for many years.
Dicky de Jong
Dicky is himself in possession of an A-license as a player, is a men's premier league player of SKF and he was coach of the youth team of SKF that won the national league title in 2017.
Boris de Vries
Boris is an ex-international, ex-premier league player, multiple masters champion of the Netherlands and is trainer/coach of many A-youth players. Boris also acts as national coach of youth teams at European youth championships.
Yana Timina
Yana is an ex-international, Masters winner and played at the highest level in the German 1st Bundesliga. She is trainer/coach of many top talents such as Dutch women's singles champion 2024 Tanja Helle.
Juliet van Veen
Juliet is an ex-player in the women's premier league, head of the Table Tennis Academy Amersfoort and trainer/coach of many A-youth players such as women's premier league player Anouk v.d. Boom.
Pieter Geerts
In Flanders (Dutch speaking part of Belgium), Pieter was responsible for the training of the 12-year-olds, was a trainer at the top sports school in Leuven and is coordinator and head of his table tennis school TT Kempen/TT Touché. Pieter has been the technical director of top sport in Flanders since 2025.
Yannick Maes
Yannick is an ex-A-player in Belgium and was active for a decade at the highest level in Belgium in the men's superdivision. He was a trainer/sparring partner of the TT Kempen table tennis school.
