Opportunities for top talents as a guest player
Also for top talents who do not follow the regular topsport program of the TTSD, there are various possibilities at the TTSD.

First of all, a top talent can participate in one of the international youth tournaments, in which the TTSD participates every year, upon invitation. The top talent is then part of the TTSD team on an ad hoc basis as a guest player who is supervised by the TTSD trainers. There are opportunities, for example in northern France, Belgium or Germany, to take on the challenge with international peers.
For example, Brent Ronde and Kaj Ronde were active outside the Netherlands for the first time at the international youth tournament of Flanders (VTTL Open) with the TTSD at the beginning of their career. Brent won the "under-10" tournament at this VTTL Open in Belgium in June 2017.

A top player like Anouk v.d. Boom was also occasionally part of a TTSD team at an international youth tournament (from 2016 to 2020) from the time she first started playing table tennis. In 2020, for example, she won the title in the girls' "under-15" class at the strong international youth tournament of Mulhouse (Northern France).
Top talent Zoë Schutte was active in Northern France with the TTSD team at the strong "Internationaux Jeunes de Mulhouse" in 2024 during the Pentecost weekend with participants from all over North-Western Europe.
In addition, top talents can participate in the open camps that are staged throughout the year in the competition-free periods.
Finally, a top talent can choose to follow personal training courses that are tailored to the wishes and capabilities of the top talent.
