Rémi went to Qatar end of januari to compete at the WTT Feeder Doha tournament in both singles and mens doubles.
In warm Doha, Rémi managed to reach the main draw of the WTT-torunament, after winning 3 matches in the qualification and the preliminary stage. In the 1st round of the main draw he immediately drew a much higher ranked player who blocked him from further success. On the world singles ranking our protagonist found himself on number 262 after Doha.
Also in the mens doubles there was a progression as Rémi, again partnered with Wassim Essid from Tunesia, managed to reach the quarter finals following a win in the last 16 round. This resulted in a 66 spot on the world ranking of doubles.
So nice results in sunny Qatar.
