The Luxembourg Youth Open, with top players from Europe and China, posed the next challenge for Collin and Angelique.
Collin Jager was able to make a good impact in this internationale top field, as a 1st year pupil. With a nice 8th place in the final classification he performed to satisfaction.
Angelique Gertenbach travelled, after her tournament win last week in Denmark, with a good feeling to Luxembourg. She was able to compete with international top players from Europa and China there. She missed the chance of a next tournament win by just loosing the semi final in 5 games, but the bronze medal was still a nice goal. In the little final for place 3 and 4, she showed that she can also charge herself up for this and that she can step over a disappointment. Because she won the match convincingly and reached for the 2nd consecutive time an international podium spot.
