The European Youth Championships in Tsjechië are underway and the Netherlands girls cadet team with Angelique is doing well. Coached by former Netherlands star player Mirjam Hooman, the team reached a 2nd place in their poule (the team was seeded as 3rd). Angelique is the highest ranked of the team and if her good form of the last months continues, she can lead her team to a high classification. The team tournament is followed by the singles. Angelique recently decided to continu her development as a player with the TTSD. After a gigantic 3rd place in the Netherlands boys team champions league with the team of Steeds Hoger / TSB, she will play in the Belgian womens Super League for the team of Antwerpen next season. Angelique won almost everything in the Netherlands this season. She became Netherlands national Champion and won the national top-12 championships and also got good results internationally by winning the 6 nations cadets tournament and reaching the podium at the Luxembourg open and at the Catalunya open. With her participation in the EYC she finishes het cadet years in style.
