2 Players of the TTSD were present at the 6 nations cadets tournament in Denmark, representing the NTTB, starting last thursday.
For Collin it was the 2nd time that he was on the road for the NTTB competing in a strong tournament. In both the singles and the doubles tournament he showed that in a year time the competition will have to take him into account. While he came to learn this year (as a pupil), he will have higher ambitions next year. The past year, Collin has developed himself well and the TTSD is confident he will continue in this way.
Angelique, yes it is known for a longer time at the TTSD that she is capable of competing at international level. This tournament in Denmark was a good test for her international level. In the team tournament she showed a good form, winning 9 out of her 10 matches. In the poule in the singles Angelique again played against the girl who had beaten her in the team competition. And the 2nd time Angelique was just a little bit better and because of that managed to win her poule without loosing a match. From the quarter finals onwards there was a k.o. system. But there was only one that gave all the opponents a k.o.with her hard fh and bh spin and so Angelique won the 6 nations cadets tournament! see the picture below!
